The ARTHRO Mentor™ stands as an advanced simulator for arthroscopic training. It emerges as the most efficient tool for acquiring skills in arthroscopic surgery, significantly reducing training time and enhancing the learning curve for intricate surgical techniques.
This simulator encompasses a range of simulated procedures, integrating anatomical models crafted from fiberglass and polyurethane (for the shoulder, knee, and hip), along with 3D visuals and tactile feedback. This amalgamation enables users to grasp essential facets of the procedures. The simulated procedures are executed using a genuine set of instruments mirroring those found in the operating room, including the arthroscopic camera. This empowers the trainee to gain a genuinely lifelike, hands-on experience.
The ARTHRO Mentor case collection encompasses a structured series of training tasks aimed at honing the skills necessary for achieving proficient eye-hand coordination with both the arthroscopic camera and virtual instruments.
The training modules progress in complexity, covering cases with both normal anatomies and a variety of pathologies, including:
- Fundamentals of Arthroscopic Surgery Training (FAST)
- Arthroscopy basic skills
- Knee diagnostic procedures
- Knee therapeutic procedures
- Shoulder diagnostic procedures
- Shoulder therapeutic procedures
- Hip diagnostic procedures
